Ingredients
2 cups milk
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
STEP 1
Heat milk in a medium pot until small bubbles form around edge.
Remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar and flour until smooth.
Whisk into the hot milk.
Return to heat.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a simmer.
Cook 1 minute longer then remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
